Sara Jewell is an actor based in London, England.  

 

In 2017 she was nominated for Best Actress at the Unrestricted View Film Festival for her lead role in feature film Shopping Channels.   She co-directed and starred in her short film, An Intimacy, which had its first screening at the Cannes Film Festival, Short Film Corner.  She is currently working on her next short film, Binary.  

 

SpyInTheStalls Theatre Review notes that "Credit must go to Sara Jewell, whose nuanced performance provides a more intimate human connection with the audience" for her role in Iphigenia Crash Land Falls (Bread & Roses, UK).  One of Sara's favourite theatre role was playing "The Lung" in a devised physical theatre piece Her Body is a Minefield (White Bear, UK).

Sara is an advanced Kickboxer and holds a BASSC (British Academy of Stage & Screen Combat) in Broadsword. A strong swimmer, she enjoys Scuba Diving (AOWD). She has a strong command of accents, and speaks conversational Mandarin and Spanish with a native pronunciation.

She studied at Royal Holloway, University of London where she earned a scholarship to the University of California, Santa Barbara. Receiving Dean's Honors, she then went on to train at the Michael Howard Studios in New York. Sara now continues developing her craft with the Ivana Chubbuck Studio.
